What our kids thought
I haven’t read this one to my kids because it really is for the older kids, ages 8 – 12, but I am sure kids older than 12 could benefit from reading this book and hearing who God says they are.
This book has lovely imagery, verses, and mini activities that help our kids identify and understand who God says they are. It’s a tool that can help them develop a positive self-image, teaching them that they should not define themselves by what others say or by what they do but rather by who God says they are.
Our children need not question who they are. It’s right there, written plainly in the Bible. They are “Loved,” “Called,” “Wonderful,” “A Child of God,” and the list goes on. Definitely one if you think your child could benefit from some framing, grounding, and focus on what the one true God says about them.
