Day Seven - 365 Read Aloud Bedtime Bible Stories
Today is the last day of the Seven Days of Discoveries! You may have missed our book yesterday. Just as the Lord rested on the Seventh day, so did we. We decided to take a break yesterday and resume today with the last book, which is a wonderful book that anyone can read to their kids daily. This is a book for kids of all ages! Today’s book is the Read Aloud 365 Bedtime Bible Stories.
This book was designed to be a mini devotional that helps your kids know and become connected to the stories of the Bible, each and every night. You can use these books to form a habit of daily prayer and worship with your kids or to cement the concept of reading the word of God before bedtime. Either of these practices would be great habits to teach our kid!
What We Thought
Note that the pages are black and white, and the stories are simplified. The authors did put a story on each page, one for each of the 365 days of the year. Since the stories are short, they help to capture little ones and big ones alike. What I love is that despite the short length, each story still includes 1-3 Bible review questions tailored to young audiences. This book is also very inexpensive at $3.99.
